I have changed the order and it shows the script after the useless script: blah like this
I think it is logical to show the source right after |

Still strange to me to see what we did after results, not before we doing it. But it's not critical. More important thing is now there is no |

Verbosity now looks irrational in some cases: (as for spot v1.10.1-9aab799-2023-07-27T15:02:00Z)
without
-v
/--dry
/--dbg
:more logical here seems to me is just good exit code and output with
echo:
commands.there is missing level (and I'm not sure it should be added, but it could be like info level without debug info) where
is expected, with timings but without
script: /bin/sh -c /tmp/.spot-7004577479215170560/spot-script1302878036
part (mostly always useless data)With
-v
now is:And here is "run task" message, result first, then 'completed' mesage, then source code of executed task.
Other order seems to be more logical to me:
"script: /bin/bash -c /tmp/.spot-3848016599666591744/spot-script2179626406" still looks useless here, but shell and vars could be good to see here.
At the same time,
--dbg
is logical and seems to print things in order as they happen:Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
