Multiple Sidebar Nested

I'm trying to have a Sidebar that has "f.e." Two buttons, and when you click on one of them, you get redirected to that page and then the sidebar expands with the elements inside that page.

I know about Multiple Sidebars, but I want the sidebar stay the same but extended. I tried doing something like this, but it doesn't work.

So, When I'm inside Components i can still see the Layouts title, and see it's children.

I made it work once, but somehow i lost the file and i can't repeat it again. Or maybe I thought it was possible.
