Summary

Redesign of Wagtail’s dashboard to make it more useful.

Intended outcome

This will include:

  • Workflow functionality improvements
  • Visual design changes to summary items and welcome message

Moving to the next release, though at this point we only intend to do design & tech discovery, not implementation.

Moving to Future. We’ve made progress on new designs, and will proceed with implementation once the designs have been reviewed, with no set schedule until then. See Wagtail dashboard enhancements #8325 for latest progress.
