I'm a backend-focused software engineer based in Istanbul. I've spent the last 6+ years designing APIs, optimizing database queries, and shipping full-stack applications — from early-stage startups to freelance clients across the globe.
What I enjoy most is making things fast. At Markabte, I cut a critical API response from 1–2 seconds down to under 500ms through caching, prefetching, and data architecture redesign. At InstaCEI, I improved data retrieval efficiency by 30% while deploying services across AWS and Azure.
Beyond code, I've taught full-stack development to 100+ students and mentored dozens of developers through 1-on-1 sessions. I care about writing software that's clear enough for the next person to maintain — and explaining it well enough for the next person to learn.
