SCM Helper can be operated via the command line, or via a Windows GUI...
On first run, it will as some set up questions and create a default configuration.
Press Analyse to read the SCM data and run the analysis.
Press Backup to backup the database.
The Analysis Window will pop up...
Select the required reports.
Select if you want sorted by error or name.
If fixable errors have been found, they can be fixed by pressing the fixit button on the main window.
Instead of getting the data live from SCM, you can read from an archive (backup). This is particularly useful to test the backup files!
From here you can
- Edit the the configuration.
- Update email lists.
- Fix issues.
