Additional context
When liking a project, wouldn't it be much better/fun to create some sort of favorites/wishlist in your profile with your liked projects? This way you can follow projects you find interesting, and for example, receive a new notification when they update the page. So whenever you finish a project, you can easily find back previously liked projects and check if they're still open for new group members f.e..
