Nightmare v1.0.1 is an emergency update to Nightmare v1.0.0, including fixes for critical issues. We recommend all users update immediately, as all save data is compatible with Nightmare v1.0.0.

Overview

In Nightmare v1.0.1, nearly all critical issues in Nightmare have been fixed. You can consider this version as a long-term stable version for gameplay. Improvements include, but are not limited to:

• Fixed an issue where enemies could not properly follow the player in some cases.
• Fixed certain endings that were impossible/difficult to trigger.
• Fixed an issue where some objects in certain scenes were not rendered correctly.
• Improved enemy distribution on the map.

Overview

In Nightmare v1.0.0, many issues from v1.0.0-alpha have been fixed and some features and improvements have been added, including but not limited to:

• Fixed an issue where enemies could get stuck inside buildings and unable to pass through door frames in certain situations.
• Added resolution options available in the settings page, with the default setting being the "Default Resolution," which is the highest resolution supported by the screen.
• Introduced an automatic save system, which activates upon entering the game, requiring no manual intervention. Saved games can be deleted with the "Clear Save" option.
• Optimized the display for low-resolution monitors.
• Produced a real-machine rendered promotional video for the project.
• More bug fixes and improvements.
