To run Creeper you need either TOPS 10 or TOPS 20. In TOPS 10 OR 20 Terminal run:

.R PIP
*CREEPER.MAC=TTY:

Paste the Creeper code.

On a new line, press Ctrl+Z then Enter to save. Press Ctrl+C to exit PIP.

Compile and run the program:

.COMPILE CREEPER.MAC
.LOAD CREEPER
.START

DISCLAIMER !!! Only the Creeper code for TOPS-20 acts as a worm distributing itself over the network. The original TOPS-20 code does not work on TOPS-10, so for the TOPS-10 version, the network replication behavior had to be removed.
