This project has been detached from the upstream simple-salesforce repository. It now has different build-tooling and Github Actions workflows.

Our goal is to ultimately integrate various aspects of this project into the upstream simple-salesforce library so that simple-saleforce can benefit from an async client, but the commit history and build styles of the two projects have diverged enough that we feel it makes sense to completely detach.

This release is entirely related to build-tooling and includes various changes to how the project will be developed, built, and released in the future.
