🤖 AI-Trading-Alert-Bot

AI-assisted cryptocurrency trading, market analysis, strategy research, and automated alerting.

GitHub Python Crypto Trading Telegram

📌 Overview

AI-Trading-Alert-Bot is a Python-based cryptocurrency trading and market-analysis project designed for developers, quantitative traders, and algorithmic-trading enthusiasts.

The project provides a modular environment for working with:

  • Cryptocurrency market data
  • Exchange connectivity
  • Technical indicators
  • Trading strategies
  • Strategy optimization
  • Backtesting
  • Automated trading workflows
  • Market analysis
  • Telegram notifications
  • API-based integrations
  • Docker-based deployment
  • Custom strategy development

The architecture is designed to make it possible to extend the system with custom strategies, indicators, data sources, exchange integrations, and notification workflows.

✨ Key Capabilities

📊 Market Analysis

Analyze cryptocurrency markets using real-time and historical market data.

The project supports a broad ecosystem of market-data and trading functionality through exchange integrations and technical-analysis libraries.

🧠 Strategy Development

Create, test, modify, and optimize algorithmic trading strategies.

Strategies can be developed independently and integrated into the trading framework without redesigning the entire application.

📈 Technical Analysis

The project includes support for popular quantitative and technical-analysis tooling, including:

  • Moving averages
  • Momentum indicators
  • Volatility indicators
  • Trend indicators
  • Volume analysis
  • Custom technical indicators
  • Strategy-specific calculations

🔬 Backtesting

Evaluate trading strategies against historical market data before considering live deployment.

Backtesting can be used to investigate:

  • Strategy behavior
  • Entry and exit conditions
  • Historical performance
  • Drawdowns
  • Trade frequency
  • Risk characteristics
  • Parameter changes

Backtesting results should never be interpreted as a guarantee of future performance.

⚙️ Strategy Optimization

Experiment with strategy parameters and optimize configurations for historical datasets.

This makes the project suitable for iterative quantitative research and strategy development.

🔄 Exchange Integration

The project uses ccxt as part of its dependency stack, providing an interface for cryptocurrency exchange connectivity.

This allows exchange-related functionality to be built around a common API layer instead of implementing every exchange independently.

📱 Telegram Integration

Telegram functionality is supported through python-telegram-bot.

This can be used as part of notification, monitoring, and trading-operation workflows.

For support, development inquiries, or custom integrations:

Telegram: @nexastruct

🌐 API Services

The project includes an API-server stack based on:

  • FastAPI
  • Pydantic
  • Uvicorn
  • JWT-related functionality
  • Async file handling
  • Process monitoring

This provides a foundation for exposing trading and monitoring functionality through HTTP APIs.

🐳 Docker Support

Docker-related configuration is included for reproducible deployment and development environments.

This makes the project suitable for deployment on:

  • VPS servers
  • Cloud instances
  • Dedicated Linux servers
  • Container platforms
  • Local development environments

🏗️ Architecture

The project follows a modular architecture built around market data, trading logic, analysis, execution, and supporting infrastructure.

⚙️ Configuration

Before connecting the system to live exchanges, configure the required trading and API settings according to the configuration examples provided in:

config_examples/

User-specific configuration and runtime data can be maintained under:

user_data/

🔐 Security

Never commit private credentials to GitHub.

Do not expose:

API keys
API secrets
Private keys
Telegram bot tokens
JWT secrets
Exchange credentials
Database credentials

Use environment variables or protected configuration files whenever possible.

Example:

export EXCHANGE_API_KEY="your_api_key"
export EXCHANGE_API_SECRET="your_api_secret"

Never place real credentials directly into this README.

📡 Exchange Connectivity

The project includes cryptocurrency exchange connectivity through the CCXT ecosystem.

A typical integration flow is:

       ▼
Market Data
       │
       ▼
Exchange Interface
       │
       ▼

       ▼
Cryptocurrency Exchange

This abstraction makes it easier to work with multiple exchanges while keeping strategy logic separated from exchange-specific implementation details.

🧠 Strategy Development

Custom strategies can be developed and maintained independently from the core trading framework.

A typical strategy workflow is:

Historical Data

       ▼
Feature / Indicator Calculation
       │
       ▼
Entry Conditions
       │
       ▼

       ▼
Optimization
       │
       ▼
Paper / Dry Run
       │
       ▼
Live Deployment

This approach allows strategies to be researched and validated before being connected to live execution.

📊 Backtesting Workflow

A recommended development workflow is:

Step 1 — Define the strategy

Specify:

  • Entry conditions
  • Exit conditions
  • Indicators
  • Timeframes
  • Risk parameters
  • Position sizing

Step 2 — Collect historical data

Use appropriate historical market data for the exchange and trading pair being tested.

Step 3 — Backtest

Evaluate the strategy against historical data.

Step 4 — Analyze results

Review metrics such as:

  • Total return
  • Number of trades
  • Drawdown
  • Profit factor
  • Win/loss distribution
  • Exposure
  • Risk characteristics

Step 5 — Validate

Test the strategy on data that was not used during optimization.

Step 6 — Paper trade

Run the strategy without risking real capital.

Step 7 — Consider live deployment

Only after appropriate testing and operational validation should live execution be considered.
