Currently, Wan2.1 appears to be designed to run primarily on NVIDIA GPUs using CUDA.
I have an AMD GPU and have found a possible solution/workaround that allows Wan2.1 to run without an NVIDIA GPU.
Proposed Solution
Instead of relying only on CUDA, the implementation could use an AMD-compatible GPU backend such as ROCm.
I would like to share my approach so that AMD GPU users can run Wan2.1 without needing an NVIDIA GPU.
Benefits
Allows Wan2.1 to run on AMD GPUs.
Provides an alternative to CUDA for supported hardware.
Makes Wan2.1 more accessible to users who do not have NVIDIA GPUs.
I can provide the implementation/changes and testing details if this approach is useful for the project.
