Process used to create the Hydrometric Stations - Active and Discontinued data object in the BC Data Catalogue. The repository outlines the process used in R with the tidyhydat and bcdata packages to create the data object.
Steps to create the bc_hydrometric.csv
file:
- When HYDAT is updated, run
tidyhydat::download_hydat()
- Run the
create_record.R
Updated with each quarterly release of HYDAT, the Environment and Climate Change Canada database of hydrometric data.
This data can be retrieved through the BC Data Catalogue or using the bcdata R package:
