This is a collection of basic Powershells scripts that have been requested by various people/customers. Most are used to automate some general task.
List of scripts:
Search files for expression.ps1 - This goes through files, moves the files into a variable and checks to see if the expression is matched, if so it returns the file name. The current expression it searches for is: ####-####-####-####.
Sort and Move Files By year.ps1 - Goes througha directory and sorts files into folders for each of the year the file was last accessed.
Sort and Move directories and files by year.ps1 - Similiar to above but moves directories as well into folders named _Year (IE: _2019)
