Uni
Best practices for using Uni in this course:
-
Complete your Uni profile (real name, photo, program name, superpowers, and anything else) to make it easier to connect with each other and potentially identify prospective co-founders.
-
Refer to the glossary for a list of all the tags and details used in the course.
-
When you use a specific ideation method for a new idea, always tag the idea with the method.
-
When you use a specific ideation method for a new idea, you can use a Show Your Work detail to explain how you actually used the method to produce the idea. For example, if you use the remove method, explain what existing product you used as the base case and what feature you removed.
-
If you would like feedback on an idea from a specific peer or faculty member, you should ask them in a comment on the idea using their @name so that they receive a notification.
-
If someone leaves a helpful comment on your idea, you should thank them for the comment. This helps reinforce productive critique and the collaborative spirit of this course. (Not to mention that receiving thanks is a significant part of everyone's grades!)
-
Feel free to invent new tags to help you and your classmates organize all of your ideas. These could be related to technologies (e.g., ai) or audiences (e.g., teens) or anything else!
-
If you hit a bug or a snag in Uni, or have ideas for how to make Uni better, please report your issues on the Uni bug tracker.
