on Mac OS, element is not allowing to swipe to another window

Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
2. whenever i click into Element, I am unable to swipe to another window until i click somewhere outside of the mac os app.
3. What do you click?
4. either the element app or outside to allow me to swipe.

Can you be more specific? Maybe provide a video and which gesture you are using? Which OS version?

swiping between desktops with 3/4 fingers works fine for me, as does app switching with cmd+tab.
