…with new guardrails. Had to pull out the word-by-word fixes in favor of more general exceptions. Updated doc and fixed descriptions.

Unfortunately, had to pull out the word-by-word fixes in favor of plain exceptions. The NER model wasn't playing well with dependencies. Validator appeared to be completely broken, so these changes aren't really a loss of functionality. Updated doc and fixed descriptions.
