wording could be slightly clearer as you arent supposed to copy the folder but the contents of the folder

imo would make more sense to say:

Copy the contents of the unzipped folder MSET9 `.zip` to the root of your SD card. If any of the files exist, overwrite them with the new files.

also would have saved me some time... haha no not me what?! ;) great guide tho...

The folder doesn't need to be unzipped on the Windows guide, so if you're referring to this, it doesn't really make sense. Maybe the wording could be changed to 'copy the contents of the mset9.zip...' similar to your text, but in my opinion as long as people read the text properly it is understandable in its current state.

A folder being created only happens when you explicitly do a right-click/extract to folder sort of thing. On Windows I would normally expect people to double click on the zip, see the contents on File Explorer (or 7-Zip or WinRAR or whatever may be the case), and then copy them ('everything') to root of SD. IIRC on macOS if you double click on a ZIP it will automatically extract it to a folder, so if that is what happened in your case I can see the confusion.

That being said, the 'copy everything' wording is used throughout the guide, and there are screenshots showing what your folder structure should look like (which would of course omit the presence of a MSET9-v2.x folder or whatever else). So I'm not sure how the wording could be improved without also making it harder to parse/more confusing.
