Summary

Update proxies/custom.mdx to explain encrypted customer CA storage and host-side egress-proxy trust, rather than browser trust-store installation. Document CA-backed hot-swaps, retained TLS verification, Kernel's browser-facing CA, and the opaque-TLS limitation.

Deployment order

Do not merge or publish until https://github.com/kernel/kernel/pull/4856 has been deployed. These docs describe the new backend behavior.

Testing

  • bunx mintlify validate passed.
  • bunx mintlify dev --no-open started successfully; GET /proxies/custom returned HTTP 200 and rendered all updated MITM TLS text.
  • git diff --check passed.
  • No code examples changed.
