On Dec 8th 2024, @MutyaSowmya123 @yrlmanoharreddy and I attended "Code and Coffee" meetup event. We had a great time networking with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Please, change the title to something like "Open Source with SLU Tech Leads Visit Local Code and Coffee Meetup". It doesn't have to be those words exactly, but something like that.

Please, also clarify who "I" is at various points in the article. Getting rid of "I" statements entirely is better for keeping a corporate tone. You can keep a corporate voice to the whole piece by using quotes, like this:

Billy Gates, who is the Tech Lead for the [WhenDoze](https://oss-slu.github.io/docs/project_whendoze) project, observed "everyone was drinking their coffee through straws. I've never seen anything like it!"

Did you write any actual code while there? Did you get to share your OSS projects with anyone?

You might also add if you are planning on attending again. Would bring your OSS team members for a social activity? Would you bring other Tech Leads?

### A Welcoming and Diverse Community

The event provided a very welcoming atmosphere, with people from various backgrounds. It was incredible to meet people who have great experience in programming, each with their preferred languages, even COBAL. One person humorously shared that they hate COBOL but mentioned that we could still make a good living if we wish to get into it early though we'd probably hate every minute of it (laughs)
