I'm a first-year B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering student focused on building a strong foundation in C, C++, data structures, systems programming, and open source.
I learn by taking projects from simple implementations to cleaner, tested, maintainable software.
student: "B.Tech CSE β’ Year 1"
primary_path: "C β C++ β DSA β Systems"
current_language: C
next_language: C++
tools: "Git β’ GitHub β’ VS Code"
focus: "Systems programming + open source"
approach: "understand β build β test β contribute β repeat"|
CURRENT FOCUS Pointers β’ structs β’ dynamic memory β’ file I/O β’ testing |
NEXT STEP OOP β’ STL β’ vectors β’ maps β’ strings β’ modern C++ |
BUILDING EXPERIENCE Git workflows β’ issues β’ code review β’ pull requests |
|
A console-based banking system written in C demonstrating account management, authentication, binary-file persistence, transfers, transaction history, validation, automated testing, and CI. Current goal: evolve it into a stronger C systems-programming project using pointers, structs, dynamic memory, safer storage, and better tests. |
A student-built computer-vision and deep-learning project for crop classification and Guava quality grading. It uses an EfficientNetB0 two-stage pipeline and currently classifies five crops, with Guava graded into A/B/C/Reject. |
|
An open-source AI gateway where I'm gaining experience working inside an existing codebase, investigating issues, making targeted fixes, and preparing upstream pull requests. |
An interactive browser-based FinTech demonstration with wallets, transfers, budgets, expenses, dashboards, and simulated fraud checks. |
|
An AI-powered open-source contribution assistant with five focused tools: Issue Analyzer, Codebase Explorer, Test Planner, PR Mentor, and Contribution Safety Checker. It runs locally with Ollama and a lightweight Gradio interface. |
My personal developer portfolio, bringing together project showcases, learning progress, and open-source work. |
Cleared the Round 1 poster presentation at Let's Start β26: Zero to Prototype, hosted at NIT Jalandhar.
Project: CivicBin AI β a computer-vision concept to detect when litter is thrown toward a dustbin but misses it, capture the incident, and support reporting for cleaner public spaces.
Focus: AI Β· Computer Vision Β· Smart Waste Management Β· Digital Public Infrastructure
I'm now building toward meaningful contributions in C/C++ and systems-oriented projects.
|
C++ / OPEN SOURCE Exploring the codebase, learning the contribution workflow, and working toward beginner-friendly upstream fixes. |
C/C++ / FIRMWARE Exploring embedded firmware development and learning how to contribute safely to a real hardware-oriented codebase. |
