What

Splits Android TV out of the Android section of the README into its own Android TV / Google TV header, and lists
ProjectM TV next to the paid Play Store TV app.

  • The Android section no longer mentions TV.
  • The TV section lists ProjectM TV (free, open source, APK download) and the paid Play Store TV app
    (com.psperl.projectMTV).
  • The note under it follows the existing Android note: neither app is created or supported by the projectM developers,
    and projectM issue tracker reports about them will be closed. ProjectM TV issues go to its own repository.

About ProjectM TV

  • Free and open source (LGPL 2.1), installed as an APK, updated through GitHub releases.
  • Based on projectM 4.1.7 including unreleased merged fixes.
  • Used on a wide variety of Android TV / Google TV devices.

@kblaschke I've already updated the wiki :)

I'd say ending the paragraph after "..for install instructions" would be sufficient, e.g. not mentioning a version which might quickly become outdated and require constant editing of projectM's ReadMe.

Version-specific notes should better be put into the release notes of each individual app release.

It's fine in the projectM Wiki though.
