This project is an implementation of a marketplace website using Django.

This web application allows users to:

• Browse listings of items for sale.
• View details of individual items.
• Bid on auction listings.
• Create their own auction listings.
• Add items to a watchlist.
• Comment on listings.

⚙️ To run this project locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone [https://github.com/saidbaraou/commerce.git](https://github.com/saidbaraou/commerce.git)
   cd commerce

2. Create a virtual environment (recommended):

   python -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate  # On macOS and Linux
   # venv\Scripts\activate  # On Windows

3. Install the dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Make migrations:

   python manage.py makemigrations
   python manage.py migrate

5. Create a superuser (for admin access):

   python manage.py createsuperuser

6. Run the development server:

   python manage.py runserver

7. Open your web browser and navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8000/ to view the application.
