Infrastructure

This chapter describes the current infrastructure of the project.

Each push to the GitHub repository triggers a build on these services:

• TravisCI using a Ubuntu 12.04 64bit VM: https://travis-ci.org/muhkuh-sys/org.muhkuh.lua-lua51-romloader

• AppVeyor running on 32bit and 64bit Windows: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/docbacardi/org-muhkuh-lua-lua51-romloader

• circleci running on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit VM: https://circleci.com/gh/muhkuh-sys/org.muhkuh.lua-lua51-romloader

The build results from TravisCI are copied after auccess to Bintray: https://bintray.com/muhkuh/Muhkuh/lua51-romloader/view Please note that this is done for each build, and not only tagged ones.

Build on Windows

• Install the latest Python 2.7 from https://www.python.org/ .

• Install the latest CMake from https://cmake.org/ .

• Download the latest MinGw-W64 from https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/ . Use "x86_64-posix-seh" for 64bit builds, use "i686-posix-sjlj" for 32bit builds.

• Extract the "i686-posix-sjlj" MinGw-W64 to C:/MinGW/i686-8.1.0-release-posix-sjlj-rt_v6-rev0 .

• Extract the "x86_64-posix-seh" MinGw-W64 to C:/MinGW/x86_64-8.1.0-release-posix-seh-rt_v6-rev0 .

• Download the latest Swig version from http://www.swig.org/download.html .

• Extract the Swig archive to C:/Tools .

• Open a command prompt in the folder with this readme. Run the command "C:/Python27/python.exe build_artifact.py". To build for Windows: python build_artifact.py windows <cpu_architecture> To build for Ubuntu: python build_artifact.py ubuntu <ubuntu_distribution_version> <cpu_architecture> <cpu_architecture> is x86 or x86_64

• The results of the build can be found in the subdirectory "build/repository".
