Prat is a chat enhancement addon for World of Warcraft. While Prat is the addon that users install, all of the features are delivered by individually controllable modules.

Modules

  • Achievements - Achievment related customizations
  • Alias - Adds the command /alias, which can be used to alias slash commands in a similar way to the Unix alias command.
  • AltNames - Allows people's alt characters to be linked to their mains, which can then be displayed next to their names when found in chat messages (default=off).
  • Bubbles - Chat bubble related customizations
  • Buttons - Chat window button options.
  • ChannelColorMemory - Remembers the colors of each channel name.
  • ChannelNames - Channel name abbreviation options.
  • ChannelSticky - Chat channel sticky options.
  • ChatLog - A module to automaticaly enable chat and combat logging.
  • ChatTabs - Chat window tab options.
  • Clear - Adds clear text slash commands (/clear)(/cls)(/clearall)(/clsall).
  • CopyChat - Copy text from the active chat window.
  • CustomFilters - Module to support custom filters.
  • Editbox - Editbox options.
  • EventNames - Chat window event name options.
  • Fading - Chat window text fading options.
  • Filtering - A module to provide basic chat filtering.
  • Font - Chat window font options.

  • HoverTips - Shows tooltip when hovering over link in chat
  • Invites - Options for easy inviting of players to groups

  • Memory - Support saveing the Blizzard chat settings to your profile so they can be synced accross all your charactaers
  • Mentions - Support mentioning other players in chat
  • Paragraph - Chat window paragraph options.

  • Search - Adds the ability to search the chatframes.
