Tips for using Velodyne Viewer with VR

MultiPass vs SinglePass VR

  • From Project Settings/XR Plugin management/ can toggle between MultiPass and SinglePass
  • Some materials/shaders only work with MultiPass rendering
  • If you use DX11 rendering and SinglePass, assign "Velodyne_DX11_Uber (VR SinglePass)" as Cloud Material

VR+URP

  • If [x] Mesh Rendering is enabled, use MultiPass rendering OR singlepass with Mesh/Velodyne_Mesh_Uber (VR SinglePass).material
