Hello, I'm Leviah. I develop in-depth comprehensive solutions to problems such as Python Packages, Software Ecosystems, and general tools. I'm currently employed in OIT in Michigan and I'm currently looking for a new position. I'm happy to work remote or hybrid positions and am open to relocation somewhere warmer.
Bachelor of Computer Science expected graduation Fall 2026
…and more!xQWERTILE is a software ecosystem of connected tools for defining, interpreting, typing, translating and implementing ⸉Tile⸉ (programming language) and ⸉TileLang⸉ (English language extension) and any other related content.
The project began as an experiment in creating my own rules and systems for both English and programming. It has grown into a collection of interconnected tools that I use as part of my daily workflow, providing a larger-scale project for exploring language design, tooling, and software integration.
- developed across multiple programming languages
- comprises several interconnected projects built around a cohesive language ecosystem
- connects multiple tools and solutions into a unified workflow
- actively used as part of my daily workflow
- Python, C#, AHK, TypeScript
- JSON, XML
- Custom lexing & parsing solution
- designed Tile & TileLang syntax and semantics
- built custom lexing and parsing systems
- developed tooling across Python, C#, TypeScript, and AutoHotkey
- created data-driven systems
- wrote clear and explanatory documentation
xLPyBasics (xLeviadeer Python Basics ⧼utility⧽) is a code library for Python that provides several different types of generic utility functions.
I originally started developing xLPyBasics when I started using Python. I created several different utility classes to help generally manage data flow and program flow. Eventually those utilities became something larger and I formalized them into a cohesive package that is much more powerful than it's individual parts alone.
- Python Package
- includes utilities for managing ⌄
- JSON files
- file paths
- random number generation
- console interactions
- syntax analysis
- dependency checking
- sentinal values system
- worked with a large code-base
- ensured that the code followed a consistent pattern
- adapted external concepts to align with Python's language standards
- used tests to validate modules for correct behavior
The MCLCE Texture Converter is a texture conversion tool to convert texture packs from Minecraft Java or Minecraft Bedrock to Minecraft LCE.
I created the MCLCE Texture Converter to address the lack of tools for converting texture packs from other versions of Minecraft to Minecraft Legacy Console Editions. It is designed as an all-encompassing texture conversion solution, with an emphasis on extensibility and reuse. The converter can be used independently by other developers and called from programming languages other than the language in which it was developed.
- converts almost all game textures
- handles numerous permutations including but not limited to: different input and output versions, different texture sizes, different input and output game editions, and different generation directives.
- able to be called via the command line
- user friendly interface with an optional developer interface
- wrote code to handle numerous different circumstances at once
- wrote extensive documentation with examples and explanations
- created and iterated on a user interface
The OIT HelpDesk Assistant program is a software for use by representatives working at the CMU OIT HelpDesk.
While working at the OIT HelpDesk at Central Michigan University, I noticed that my coworkers often struggled with phonetic spelling. So I set out to develop a solution tailored to their needs. I incorporated feedback from reviewers throughout the development process, iterating on the design to address their needs and implement the requested features.
- created multiple peer-reviewed phonetics sets
- deployed the software into a live corporate environment with active users
- updated the program with requests from users
- followed company policies regarding the development of the program
